Japanese Karate training also gives young people the strength not only to say “NO” to negative, potentially harmful peer pressure but to also back up their words with deeds. Our young students become the leaders of their peer groups, not compliant followers, fearfully seeking acceptance. Today’s world requires such strength from our children.
Class Days and Times
Sensei Chuck Phillips will offer karate again for the 16th year at LILA.
Lower School Campus
Classes will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:15 to 3:15. While any child may register for karate, enrollment preference will go to the students who took karate the last session.
Class Schedule – 14 weeks
Tuition Cost and Other Fees
Tuition is $210.00 for the 14 week session or call to set up 2 monthly tuition payments of $105.00 per month. Gi (uniform): $48.00. Tuition may be made by check or credit card in full or in 2 monthly payments. The sparring gear is optional for beginning students. A check payable to Kyoshin Ryu Karate Academy must be mailed or dropped off at our dojo (karate school) in Forest Lake with the application to cover the tuition and gi or call the karate school for credit card or set up monthly tuition. Application
